Since 2007 , BRaPA has been offering Brazilian cultural programs to schools in San Diego - CA. The group Nós de Chita collaborated with different non-profit arts organizations and performed Brazilian culture for kids for 12 years. With COVID19 the programs have still been going but online. Check this one prepared in May 2020 by teaching artist Claudia Lyra as part as Center for World Music programs.

Get in touch if you work in a school which is looking for Brazilian activities - Capoeira, music, dances, games, even environmental awareness - to include in the regular curriculum or for an after-school program. Claudia Lyra has been going to schools since 2006 to implement the subjects taught in-class as well as at after-school programs so the children find more motivation to be in school. Check Arts for Learning and/or Center for World Music if you need a non-profit organization to have these arts programs in your school.
